Growing up, music has always surrounded me. Someone in my family was in a rock and roll cover band playing songs by Kiss, Aerosmith, Foreigner, etc.; this is where it began. Every time I was playing air guitar to the radio or trying to clap along to the snare drum. My first guitar was given to me at around 5 or 6, but by the time I got to middle school, I joined the school band. This is where I fell in love with Drums. When I first started,t there was a senior, Jordan, who introduced me to heavy metal. This changed my life. I couldn't get enough of the double kick, blast beats, ts and breakdowns that break bones. As I grew older, I started to experiment with other genres, listening to bands like PinkFloyd, Buckethead, Primus, and still, to this day, I try to look for new sounds I've never heard. That's why I'm so grateful to be in Thesia, because we get to play with so many genres and new styles every day.
