The moment I realized that music was the missing piece in my life was when I first listened to The Wall by Pink Floyd. Hearing the silky-smooth bends in David Gilmour's solos changed my whole perspective on music and even life. Ever since that day, I couldn't go 5 seconds without listening to music or talking about it. Then I finally got my first guitar at 16 and, of course, only played for 3 months and put it down for 2 years. But once I finally turned 18, I finally got the urge to pick it up again. when from 30 minutes to a day, then all the way up to 3 hours. Then the great Sean Gentri became my teacher and showed me the ways to becoming a shred god (still working on that title). From showing me Guthrie Govan, Jason Becker, and so many more, but the artist that stuck out the most was BUCKETHEAD! Then Aiden and Austin came into my life, my drummer and bassist. Showing me how creative we can be together and being able to create music that can be so emotional and interesting that it can catch any ear. That's why I love Thesia! It's not because I'm in a project with my best friends. It's because there is complete creative freedom and being able to produce music that anyone can connect to, the way music connects to us. In fact, all of us!
